21 Jump Street (2012)

21 Jump Street is an action comedy about 2 underachieving cops being sent back into high school to investigate a new synthetic drug ring. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, 21 Jump Street stars Schmidt (Jonah Hill) the geek and Jenko (Channing Tatum) the jock. Watch as they re-enter high school trying to fit in with other students and swap roles at being a geek and jock to bring down drug ring.

The film is packed full of stereotypes and the plot is well developed. As the story unfolds, there are several twists and plenty of laughs along with satisfying action scenes. Overall, 21 Jump street is almost perfect for the teenage audience, but people looking for a serious film might not be thrilled. I would not recommend this film for children as there is a fair bit of innuendo and drug references. Finally, I have to say that this is one of the best comedies I have ever seen as the humor and role reversal really makes this film brilliant and fresh.
